Hip Hop fosters literacy development, aids in self-expression, and encourages self-acceptance. It draws out the confidence within you by allowing expression from a place of pure authenticity and joy. Your expression comes straight from the heART. Hip Hop emphasizes celebrating freestyle—whether through rap, on the dance floor, or spraying art on the wall. It allows you to relax, enjoy, and let your best work flow through you. The benefits are endless: it promotes positivity, unity, and much more.

The learning I've done with my daughter India has been deeply rooted in Hip Hop and its various forms. A lot of her early development has been centred around this, and the results have been unbelievable. Her progress in reading, writing, and the ability to lyrically flow and rhyme off the top of her head at just five years old is incredible. Hip Hop has provided her with a unique way to express herself and grow in ways that are truly remarkable.

Overall, it's the DANCE, the art, and the unique way a visionary sees the world that can truly enhance early years development. It's not about following conventional methods; it's about embracing the simplicity of play, fun, movement, and creativity. These are the tools that can shape and nurture a child's growth in the most profound ways.  Don't forget to checkout me and my five years young daughter's Hip Hop Jam session video on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-SS1-8zMX4.

𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝑾𝒆 𝑼𝒔𝒆 𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝑽𝒐𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝑼𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒕

Such a wonderful experience hearing Lorraine speak at the Female Founders Summit in Northampton. Instantly, she pulled me in. I knew this was a woman who spoke from the heart. Sincerely, she is a humble, gentle soul who has lived enriching, heart-wrenching experiences. From her days as a barrister to following her heart, taking the leap, and starting her own charity, The Lewis Foundation, to self-publishing her first book, Dare to Dream.

In that moment, I was struck by her brilliance and intelligence, a true reflection of the excellence that so many Black women possess but often do not receive recognition for. Her life experiences, countless challenges, and lack of support would resonate with so many women from diverse backgrounds who dare to dream beyond the confines and conditions mapped out for them. But most importantly, her delivery on stage, the simplicity in the way she spoke, and her illustrious career as a barrister were remarkable. The courage to leave a career many see as a reflection of success and her selfless nature of wanting to bring joy back to cancer patients' lives by aiding them with simple gift packets is something so inspiring, so kind. It's exactly what this world needs.

It brought me back to my message of heART, back to Smile like a baby. Back to the reason I created Fun DANCE with Celestina & INDIA with my child by my side: to share joy with other children and parents, to bring people back to simplicity and the HAPPINESS that so evidently resides inside each and every one of us. As the tears began to run down my cheeks, I knew this humble soul was a powerhouse in the most discreet and beautiful way.

So I wrote this to say thank you, because our actions will always mean so much more than our words. Our legacy is not about being a huge Hollywood star, owning a new car, or how far you've come, but rather how aligned your heart remains with the sun.

Thank youxo

This picture beautifully captures the joy and energy of dancing with my daughter on the beach. A lovely mother on the beach captured this moment, showcasing the undeniable light radiating from my 5 year old. This light is at the heART of Fun🌈DANCE with Celestina & INDIA.

We're not just talking about the arts for entertainment purposes. It's about integrating art into everyday life, much like Eastern cultures do, embedding it into the very fabric of existence. Art and artists have a unique ability to mirror the human condition in ways that words alone cannot express. These reflections not only enhance individual well-being but also offer pathways to live more harmoniously with our planet. Human beings flourish when they align with their core and true nature.

At Smile like a baby, we embody this ethos through Fun Dance with Celestina & India, a journey I embarked on with my daughter. From joyful videos to vibrant workshops across the UK and internationally, we celebrate dance, music, and poetry. We began this adventure when she was just 2 years old, growing together with a simple yet profound mission: to celebrate the inherent joy of dance.

For me, this joy transcends movement—it's about unveiling the boundless potential within each child through dance, spoken word, and music. Starting this journey early is pivotal; it's where creativity thrives limitlessly. My daughter's growth is living proof of this transformative power.

By honouring dance, poetry, and music in young lives, we cultivate a present that is brimming with health, joy, and uninhibited expression, nurturing a future full of promise. Our recent video, inspired by Jools TV's "I Love To Read" song, has touched over 300 hearts on YouTube in just 2 weeks. It blends choreography with freestyle to express the pure joy of reading. join us in exploring the beauty of creative expression and watch the video here. When you're relaxed, your best work shines through. The high-pressure, nine-to-five grind often stifles creativity and results in redoing tasks. Instead, weekends or evenings, free from deadlines, foster authentic productivity. This contrasts with the structured work culture that limits true expression.

Expression is pivotal—it cultivates authenticity, enhances communication skills, and fosters a collaborative environment where kindness and effective teamwork thrive. As someone deeply versed in creative movement and spoken word artistry, I bring these values to enhance workplace harmony. Expression isn't just about authenticity and communication—it's also a pathway to relaxation and holistic well-being. Movement and dance bring you into your body, out of the thinking mind and back to heART. Easing tension and allowing you to unwind naturally. Similarly, engaging with poetry or music helps calm the mind and reconnects you with yourself, fostering a sense of peace and alignment. These elements not only enhance workplace harmony but also contribute to your overall well-being.

If you're someone aiming to transform your workplace culture, embracing expression not only sparks creativity and enhances collaboration but also contributes to happiness. When people are happy, they perform at their best naturally.

If you want to explore how I can weave these principles into your workplace for real productivity and fulfilment. Connect with me to see how my unique blend of creative movement, spoken word artistry, and insightful presentations can enhance your team's creativity, communication, and well-being. 𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙁𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝘼𝙍𝙏 (𝘼𝙆𝘼 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣) 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨

In our adult lives, we often follow anything but our heART, losing touch with our true essence. We listen to the crowd and prioritize others' expectations over our own feelings. To truly connect with your heART, you need to quiet the internal noise. That's when intuition can come forth. Engaging in activities like dancing, singing, or writing—whatever brings you joy and peace—helps quiet the internal chatter and doubts. These activities reflect the peace that already exists inside of you. In spontaneoutity, rhythm and flow intuition naturally arises, allow it to be your guide.

Children are brilliant guides. A baby is entirely heART. As they grow into toddlers, they still embody there pure essence, but around the age of three or four, an idea of separation happens. That they are a "someone" with a name and identity—this is when consciousness kicks in and the journey begins.

Despite this growing awareness, their innocence and connection to their true selves remains. Even as they grow older, most children's innocence shines through. Why? Because heART is our nature and can never be lost just covered by all the things picked up along the way. Observing children offers valuable lessons. How would you act if you were free from external pressures and not conditioned by societal expectations? Often, our reactions are shaped by influences we pick up along the way, rather than our innate nature.

This is why I am talking about remembering who you are again. The purity that is so evident to see in a baby is still the source of every adult, but it often becomes overshadowed by life's experiences and societal expectations. Though this seems the case it is not true happiness is you. My brand Smile like a baby, Smile like a child again is saying just this. Come Home! Return to your essence.

In doing so the natural rhythm of life will pulsate through everything you do. The idea of intuition will fade as you begin to live in harmony in love with the life that you are.

Thank youxo
